Trivia[]
- Nolan mentions the events of "Manhunt" and "Fallout" during this episode when he sees Oscar Hutchinson again, telling the warden about how Hutchinson had tried to escape on multiple occasions and had stabbed Wesley Evers during one of the attempts.
- Continuity error: Nolan says his son is 19, although earlier in the season in the episode "Tough Love" he had said that Henry was 20.
- Josh Wingate previously appeared as thug/rapper Greg Page in the Castle episode "Lucky Stiff".
- In a change of pace for TV cops, when Bradford talks about moving to New York, Sergeant Grey accurately tells him he'd have to start over and attend the NYPD academy, then be the John Nolan of the NYPD. Usually, TV cops are shown transferring from one coast to the other seamlessly.
Quotes[]
Simon: You must spend a lot of time here. Harper: Oh, he's here all the time. Nolan: Get -- Got -- Well, the criminals and the injury -- it's constant stuff.
Harper: Nothing like getting hit on by a 12-year-old delinquent to get your day started.
Bradford: There's not much to do. You know, it's -- it's not like it's a semester abroad. It's permanent. Long-distance relationships never work.
Harper: Why does motor pool always give us vehicles with no gas? Nolan: Payback. Before you were my T.O., I had an unintentional propensity for crashing police cars.
West: And if he gets caught in the crossfire? Lopez: Problem solved. Do exactly as I and the other officers say at all times. Got it?
Armstrong: Serving a warrant on the Jacobs Brothers is like playing chicken with a runaway train. That's on fire. And filled with zombies.
Grey: That's a whole other beast. You would have to go to the NYPD Academy, complete the FTO program before you'd even be allowed back on the streets. You would basically be starting from square one. [ Laughs ] In fact [Clears throat] you would be the John Nolan of the NYPD.
Lopez: If you follow us in, the coroner can carry you out. Understand?
Chen: What do you think, she's gonna do something stupid? Bradford: You know her better than I do. What do you think?
Duran: Why does everything have to be a teachable moment with you? Harper: Because he knows it's annoying
West: He got the wrong Lopez. Bradford: What? Lopez: He mixed up two lines on his spreadsheet, confused me with another A. Lopez.
