In his childhood, the family moved more frequently; his father was a soldier. Titus began to sing and dance, and at the age of nine he took part in a talent competition at his elementary school. Although he knew he wanted to work in show business, he had not gained any acting experience until graduating from high school in Sierra Vista, Arizona in 2006. After high school, he was accepted to The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. In his first year, he was selected for the New York Knicks Acroback Tumbler, which appeared at a New York Knicks midnight show at Madison Square Garden. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
One of his first roles was that of a dancer in an episode of the television series Victorious. In 2010 he appeared as a dancer in two episodes of the soap opera Love, Lies, Passion. In the same year he received a recurring supporting role in the Fox musical series Glee. In it he played until 2012 in ten episodes the role of David.
