Summary[]
The team has mixed feelings when a familiar face returns hoping to prove himself. Meanwhile, an influencer gets his fans to come after Wesley, and Tim supports Lucy as she prepares for the sergeant’s exam.
Plot[]
As Nolan and Bradford enter the locker room, they notice a uniform and wonder if they have a new rookie until a voice calls out. Everyone is speechless to witness Ridley returning to duty.
Ridley returns and is treated with hostility by the squad. Everyone wants him gone, with Nolan serving as his T.O. and he makes it clear that he will be Ridley's worst nightmare.
At the awkward date, Tamara has a new ring, revealing she and Ridley are planning to get engaged with promise rings.
As Nolan searches the area, a thug appears behind him and aims at him but Ridley calls out and shoots the suspect but is wounded in retaliation before the suspect is shot dead. Ridley is promptly helped by Gene, who turns himself in. At the hospital, Ridley has his left leg amputated below the knee, effectively ending his career. He is visited by Tamara and he reveals that he didn't have a cancer relapse, he bribed the doctor to avoid being terminated. Seeing Chen was right, Tamara takes the ring off and leaves him. Ridley is left crying in despair.
