The Rookie Wiki

Season 6 of The Rookie was announced as a renewal on April 17, 2023; the season premiered on February 20, 2024 and concluded on May 21, 2024.

Summary[]

After the attack on Mid-Wilshire personnel in the final episode of season 5, it turns out to have been a diversion to enable a massive robbery at the Federal Reserve Bank. The only person captured in connection with the robbery is killed by an unknown sniper, who seems to be advised by attorney Monica Stevens.

John Nolan and Bailey Nune get married, but their honeymoon on a remote island is interrupted by their discovery of a dead body that washes up on the shore. In a later episode, they discuss whether to have a baby despite their previous resolve not to have children.

Aaron Thorsen returns to duty after recovering from the assault in season 5. Lucy Chen finds out that Tim Bradford, her boyfriend, has been keeping a secret from his military past from her - he claims for her own good - but she demands honesty, and he ends up breaking up with her. Lucy also deals with the news that her roommate Tamara is moving out to live with some school friends, but she welcomes a new roommate in Celina Juarez.

An ongoing theme in season 6 is the number of cops who have been consulting with psychologist Dr. Blair London, and the possibility that their sessions have not been kept entirely confidential. The Mid-Wilshire cops start their own investigation into Dr. London while trying not to tip her off.
