Randy Spitz is a recurring character on The Rookie. He is played by Flula Borg.
Biography[]
Randy is first referenced in "Breakdown" when Nyla Harper recommends him to John Nolan. Randy's voice is heard in "Heart Beat" and "End Game", talking to Nolan on the phone.
He appears as a bounty hunter in "Long Shot". Randy introduces Nolan to his girlfriend, Alicia Kaufman, also happens a bounty hunter. Throughout the episode he and Alicia compete over a bounty with Randy ended up making several blunders. At the end of the episode it is revealed he and Alicia were role-playing and at the competition spiced up their relationship.
In "S.T.R." Randy mentions that he plays pickleball. He also mentions his middle name is not "Trouble," and it is, in fact, "Randy."

- Flula Borg has previously worked with Nathan Fillion in the 2021 film The Suicide Squad.
- Randy's native language appears to be German, due to his accent and his usage of common German words such as "bitte" (please), "ja" (yes), and "Frage" (Question). (In "S.T.R.", he confirms that he is German.) Flula Borg, who plays Randy, is natively German.
