Peter "Pete" Nolan is a guest character on The Rookie. He is played by Pete Davidson.
Biography[]
Pete grew up in Arizona and was born to Charles Nolan and an unnamed woman. He seems to have had a good relationship with his father. He recounts how he would help Charles fix up his car and how he bonded with him over beer and drugs.
Despite these happy times, Pete was secretly annoyed by Charles' alcoholism, especially when they were in public.
Season 2[]
In "Follow-Up Day", after his father passed away, the reading of his will caused Pete to learn of his older half-brother John Nolan, who inherited the car. He arrived in Los Angeles and spoke about the car with an unsuspecting John. However, he revealed their connection after John made a remark about Charles and was punched by Pete. Despite that, John released him from custody and offered a chance to talk about their situation. Afterwards, Pete meets a stripper named Chastity and they get into trouble, with John getting them help. Ultimately, Pete decides to keep in touch with his newly discovered half-brother.
Season 4[]
He returns in "A.C.H.", where, after pranking his half-brother with a fake injury, he asks to stay over at his house. Chastity later calls John about Pete and the latter reveals that he bailed when she told him she was pregnant. John admonishes him for doing what their father did to John. However, John later calls on Pete to help him bust drug dealers because he was experienced with the drug trade, and Pete agreed, since he was getting paid. He successfully helped John and decided to be a better man for his child. This was proven short-lived when Chastity came over and revealed she wasn't pregnant, but the two reconcile. Pete also told John that he won't stop dropping by unexpectedly.
During "Day In The Hole", after his half-brother is transferred to a new station, Pete and Chastity go to see him. The pair's trailer broke down at the border but John comes to get them. John also introduced Pete to his girlfriend Bailey Nune, and Pete met John's friends Ellroy Basso and his girlfriend Nell Forester, who also tagged along.
