Agent Matthew "Matt "Garza is a FBI Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) assigned to the FBI Los Angeles Field Division - Special Investigative Unit as Team Leader. SSA Garza is a main character on The Rookie: Feds, played by Felix Solis. He has also appeared in The Rookie.

Biography

Garza is first introduced as the Supervisory Special Agent of the FBI Los Angeles Field Office's newly-formed Special Investigation Unit. He created the unit with the intention of building a unit less subject to "FBI bureaucratic procedure". Over the course of this Garza clashed regularly with Special Agent in Charge Tracy Chiles.

Garza also struggles with health issues (specifically heart problems).

He turns up in the final episode of The Rookie season 6, as part of an FBI team headed to Argentina to "collect intelligence from a confidential local resource" about Monica Stevens, her movements, and her contacts. When the team, which includes Nolan and Harper, observes Stevens about to hand Blair London over to crime lord Jakob Olmstead, Nolan takes action, and the FBI agents back him up, after which Garza puts out an Interpol warrant on Stevens.
