Livy is a minor character on The Rookie. She is played by Kayla Maisonet.
Biography[]
Her first and only appearance is in "April Fools", where she is introduced as an Intern at Mid-Wilshire helping the LAPD's social media. Livy is portrayed as a rude and arrogant prankster, as she abused her position to make several April Fools posts, that end up with petty criminals causing crimes that land them arrested. This led to her coming to blows with Tim Bradford who repeatedly warned her not to do it again, but she disregarded his warnings and even created memes of him. Eventually, Bradford lost his patience and had her fired, after reporting to her bosses and reprimanding her, something that actually left her speechless.
Much later, she falsely broadcasted to the public that crime is legal for 3 hours, and the city fell into a chaotic false purge alarm with many places being vandalized and people being attacked. That night, Livy found herself caught in her own mistake, as the clerk's office (where she was attempting to file a lawsuit against LAPD) disrupted into destruction with a person getting shot while she was forced to hide under a desk in fear. The terrified Livy called Bradford and told him her situation, as he remarked this was of her own doing, but she begged him to help her and told him where to come. Bradford gathered a SWAT team and raided the building and with Lucy Chen, he found Livy who quickly hugged Bradford. She then witnessed Bradford fight off more assailants, who clung to him in relief before Livy is abducted by another man and Chen goes to save her, finding her on the stairs and she warned Chen of the man behind her. Fortunately, Chen overpowers and arrests the man, before Bradford comes and detains a protesting Livy for inciting mob violence across Los Angeles. When being loaded into the car, Livy frantically apologizes to Bradford for her disregarding his warnings and causing the chaos, but he coldly rebuffs her pleas for many people got hurt or killed because she chose to do it. He then slammed the car door on her last apology.

Livy: You don't have to be so mean about it. "April Fools" (7x12)
