Harold Perrineau, formerly known as Harold Williams, plays Detective Nick Armstrong on The Rookie.
Perrineau has appeared in several successful television series, including Lost, Claws, and Blade. He previously played a detective in a short-lived series in 2009 with Jeremy Renner, The Unusuals, which was created by Noah Hawley. His movie credits include Romeo + Juliet, the Matrix films, Zero Dark Thirty, and 28 Weeks Later.
Perrineau has been married to actress Brittany Perrineau since 2002, and they have three children, including Aurora Perrineau, who starred in the TV series Prodigal Son from 2019 until 2021.
