Trivia[]
- This episode serves as the second part of a two part backdoor pilot episode for The Rookie: Feds.
- AWACS stands for Airborne Warning and Control System.[2]
- "Polaris 11" may be a reference to a joint US-Canada aerial survey project instituted in 1946. It included a survey of the entire Canadian Archipelago called "Polaris Project", and it's conceivable that Polaris 11 might be a satellite currently connected to this or a similar project.[3]
- SCIF stands for "Sensitive compartmented information facility", an enclosed area within a building that is used to process classified information.[4]
- The General Schedule (GS) payscale is the federal government payscale used to determine the salaries of over 70% of federal civilian employees. GS-14 covers top-level positions such as supervisors, high-level technical specialists, and top professionals holding advanced degrees.[5]
- The candy Cutty's pal Pavel likes is still sold in the Soviet Union as "Hematogen" and does include in its ingredients "black food albumin", another term for cow's blood.[6]
- This episode also marks the final episode of Special Agent Casey Fox (Kat Foster). Her character was cut during pre-production of The Rookie: Feds and was replaced by Laura Stensen (Britt Robertson).
