Dominique Grey is a guest character on The Rookie. She is played by Jade Payton.
Biography[]
Dominique is the only child of Sergeant Wade Grey and Luna Grey. In season 1, ("Flesh and Blood") she appears at the Mid-Wilshire station as an intern in high school, helping distribute flyers, and makes friends with Henry Nolan, who is visiting his father. As it turns out, John Nolan and Wade Grey are riding patrol together that day and try to conceal the dangers they deal with in their jobs, but Dominique and Henry take each of their dads to task for it. Dominique also mentions that her mother objects to the risks Grey takes as well.
In "Clean Cut", Grey tells Harper that Dominique has been accepted to Cornell University, although he'd rather she went to UC Santa Barbara as it would keep her in California. Dominique ends up going to NYU, but is abducted just before her parents come to visit her in New York City ("Take Back"). They track down her kidnapper and rescue Dominique with the help of the NYPD,
Dominique is undaunted by her ordeal and chooses to continue living in New York City, with the help of what she calls "Wade's Way", rules her dad taught her for staying safe.
