Christopher "Cutty" Clark is a character on The Rookie: Feds, played by Frankie Faison. He has also appeared in The Rookie. He is the father of Simone Clark.

Biography[]

Cutty is a retired jazz musician and a widower; apparently Simone is his only child. It's not clear what instrument Cutty plays, but from his preferences for Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie, it might be assumed that he's a trumpeter.

In "Simone", Cutty points out that he is "a leader in the 'Defund The Police' movement"; he has been incarcerated in the past for a crime he didn't commit. Simone reminds him that it was an FBI investigation that got him exonerated, and he responds that it was the FBI that tried to compromise leaders of the civil rights movement and Black Lives Matter.

Cutty's distrust of law enforcement extends to the LAPD, evinced by his refusal to shake Officer Nolan's hand when it's first offered.

Cutty has helped the people at the community center where James Murray works, and he encounters his daughter when she comes by to ask about a group of Russians he plays chess with, the Redfellas.
