Charlie Bristow is a recurring character in Seasons 5 and 6 of The Rookie. She is played by Preeti Desai.

Background[]
Bristow is a bodyguard with X-Ring Security. She served in the SAS (UK special forces) for 8 years, working mostly counterterrorism on in the Middle East.
Season 5[]
Wesley Evers hires Bristow for personal security in "Exposed". When she arrives at Lopez and Evers' house, Evers is surprised because he was unaware that Bristow was a woman when he hired her. This eventually led to Evers's wife Angela Lopez becoming jealous of her due to the fact that Bristow was assigned to be with Evers while Lopez was at work. At the end of the episode, Bristow showed Evers and Lopez a box of dead flowers that had presumably been sent to the residence by Evers and Lopez's nemesis Elijah Stone. Bristow returned in the following episode "The Enemy Within" where she helped Evers fight off a hitman that had been sent by Stone to kill him after Stone had just been arrested by Lopez and her partner Nyla Harper.
Season 6[]
Bristow returns in "The Squeeze" where she is hired by Monica Stevens, who was unaware of Bristow's history of providing security for Lopez and Evers. When Monica leaves the country with an obviously unwilling Blair London, Bristow calls Lopez to give her what details she knows, as she feels that Stevens might be involved in something illegal.
