Quotes[]
Grey: Do I stress you out, Officer Nolan? Nolan: No, sir. [ Beeping ] [ Beeping stops ] LA CLEAR is the largest deconfliction database for law enforcement in the West.
Bradford: At your age, I'd done two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, the second in charge of a squad of 10 soldiers.
West: Don't freak out. They ran out of falafel. Lopez: Who the hell runs out of falafel? What'd you get me?
Bradford: Right where? Chen: My apartment. Bradford: Not unless it's a crime scene.
Bradford: I don't really have to say anything, do I? Chen: I'd rather you didn't.
Chen: He [Mitch] doesn't seem to like you very much. Bradford: I'm the reason he lost his leg.
Teddy’s Dad: There's no need. Kid's got good taste. And Wendy is hot. Grey: Sir, what your son did is actually illegal.
Grey: Look, uh -- one second. (exiting his office to catch LOPEZ and WEST) Lopez, West. I just solved two crimes sitting in my office -- Bradford and Chen's Peeping Tom and your gunshot victim. (off their look) I'm just saying.
Nolan: So, why come for me? Jangus: 'Cause you're the weak link. Bradford served two tours in country, Harper's taken on cartels, and -- and Chen survived a serial killer. You... built houses. And you always push on the weak link. So... I'm pushing on you.
Chen: Uh, screw that. You go, we go. Bradford: That's admirable, really, but if this thing goes sideways, we could face demotion, suspension, even jail. Harper: I've got a golden ticket. Bradford has an unblemished record. Odds are we can weather the storm. Rookies are at-will employees. They don't even need a reason to fire you.
Bradford: It doesn't matter what, just that I cut him a break when I shouldn't have, and because I did, he went back out on patrol, got blown up. Chen: That is the most Tim Bradford thing I've ever heard. You showed humanity. There's nothing to feel guilty about.
Bradford: Rules matter, Boot. Chen: Then what the hell are you doing out here? Bradford: Some things matter more.
Jangus: 'Cause it's a no-win situation. Your shooter turns me into mist, but my guys turn you into organ donors.
Grey: Let me get this straight. You all just happened to be taking a stroll on the docks, and Joe Delacruz's killer appears and turns himself in? All: Yes, Sir.
