"Breaking Point" is the ninth episode of the second season on The Rookie. This is the twenty-ninth episode of the series overall.

Summary

Officer Nolan's trust is tested when he tries to help the previous owner of his home reconnect with his family. Meanwhile, Officer Harper has finally earned an overnight visit with her daughter that is put into jeopardy when her past undercover life resurfaces again.

• Taylor Hart (Running suspect) is the identical twin brother of Porch Pirate Evan Hart. He's frequently credited as Taylor Gerard Hart.
• When West and Lopez arrive at the TV set, West mentions that The Maltese Falcon was filmed there. This is probably true; there were four sound stages used at Warner Brothers in the making of the 1941 film: 6, 9, 14, and 17.
• Cop Rock was a widely-panned "musical-drama" police TV program that aired for 11 episodes in the 1990s.
• Candyman is a 1992 horror film; it was followed by three sequels.
• According to Wikipedia, fasulya (fassoulia) is a stew made with green beans, lamb and tomato broth or other ingredients.
• "Code 3" calls for an immediate response with lights and sirens.

• Bradford: Tragedies happen, no matter how hard we try to stop them. Doesn't mean you give up. But you have to accept the fact, that some things, really are out of our control. All we can do is cherish the small victories. Hall: That was almost inspirational.
