Dr. Blair London is a recurring character in the sixth season of The Rookie, played by Danielle Campbell. She was a psychiatrist for the LAPD assigned to help Aaron Thorsen process the trauma of being shot in the Season 5 finale. Later on in the season, Tim Bradford also begins to see her for counseling. She eventually turns out to be a coerced spy for Monica Stevens and is imprisoned at the end of "Escape Plan".
Biography[]
Not much is revealed about Blair's past, she was arrested for DUI in 2018 but the charges were dropped, she once ran over someone and in a panic called Monica for help, she made the body disappear and from then on there was an involuntary collaboration between them that Blair did not like.
London has been on the LAPD staff for six months when we first see her in season 6. She counsels Aaron Thorsen during his recovery from being attacked, and Tim Bradford also comes to consult with her after he breaks up with Lucy Chen.
In "Punch Card", London comes to visit Mad Dog in the hospital after the disastrous ambush that injured him and his team; when she encounters Monica Stevens in a hallway, it becomes obvious that they know each other and that there is some nefarious deal going on between them. In this and following episodes, London confesses that she provided information to Stevens about police activity in order to undermine LAPD operations. She insists that "no one was supposed to get hurt".
In "Escape Plan", London becomes worried that Stevens is after her and drives across the city. John Nolan contacts her and makes it clear they have evidence against her and she has the chance to make it right or face Stevens. After considering, she agrees to cooperate in exchange for witness protection. As she makes her way to meet the cops, Stevens sends two hired thugs to kidnap London and take her to Argentina, intending to turn London over to Jakob Olmstead, a "Swiss money guy with ties to all forms of trafficking--guns, girls, drugs". Fortunately, London is rescued by Nolan, Nyla Harper, and their FBI allies before being brought back to Los Angeles to face arrest, while Stevens escapes and remains at large. When brought in, London attempts to apologize to Thorsen for her manipulations and leading him on, but he coldly ignores her pleas and has her processed.
