Bill August was a guest character who appeared in Season 4 of The Rookie; he was a corrupt C.I.A Agent responsible for an off the books operation called "Enervo". He recruited foreign assets across the globe in attempt to take down a foreign city without firing a shot.
Biography[]
In 2018, Ilya Sokurov, a Russian C.I.A operative, was arrested and sent to a Russian penal facility for treason. Sokurov managed to escape the facility and then fled to the United States to take revenge on Mr .August.
Taking what he learned from the C.I.A., he carried out the terrorist attacks they trained him for on the city of Los Angeles.
Mr. August was also responsible for the abduction of Agent Kate Hill, who identified the unknown terrorist as Ilya Sokurov and stated that he was part of "Enervo".
Federal Bureau of Investigation trainee agent Simone Clark later tracked Sokurov to a location near an aquarium where she was assaulted by him. Officer John Nolan arrived on scene; they chased Sokurov and eventually caught him. He told them the story of how August betrayed him and cost him everything.
Mr. August is later arrested by Sergeant Grey.
