Plot[]

As Nolan and Anita walked back, Nolan is approached by Craig who reveals that while securing the scene, he has gathered evidence on the murder. He found the position of the driver's seat that Teddy was in had been positioned for a person like Anita and he found a glass on a pillar, taking photos of it before he got the go ahead from him to move it. Nolan deduces that Anita staged the murder scene and compliments Craig, stating there was hope for him yet while telling him to get his gloves to procure it. As they prepare to bring her in, they are confronted by an angry mob of criminals who were rallying for the chaotic false purge alarm and demands the car. Anita spots this and deflects blame on them for Teddy's murder and runs when Nolan tells her to take shelter in the police car. Craig tries to pursue her, but Nolan tells him they'll catch her after dealing with the thugs and getting the evidence, while telling him to leave his gun holstered and use his baton. After fighting off several thugs, the two are forced to run, but not before Craig successfully procured the glass as evidence.

Elsewhere, Bradford is driving down the streets, before he gets a call from an unknown number and answers. It's a terrified Livy who tells him that she needs his help, as he remarked on the state the city has fallen into because of her doing, telling her to ask for someone else. However, she begged him to help her and told him that she was at the clerk's building which has fallen into complete chaos. Bradford gathered a SWAT team and raided the building along with Lucy Chen and Juarez. They find Livy in fear who then clings to Bradford before he deals with more assailants, one of which takes Livy away. LAPD deal with the stragglers and save Livy, before Bradford takes her into custody for her involvement, which led to the purge. A guilty and saddened Livy apologizes to Bradford for her disregarding his warnings and causing the chaos, but he coldly rebuffs her pleas by bringing up her attempted lawsuit for her termination and berates her for making the post because many people got hurt or killed because she chose to do it. As she is loaded into the car, Livy makes one last apology, but the door is slammed shut by Bradford.

Grey, Harper, and Lopez evaluate the situation before Wesley comes up and reveals he has an arrest warrant for Det. Berman. Grey questions this, as Lopez and Harper reveal that they discover Berman was having an affair with the widow of a murder victim and is revealed to be the true culprit. They further explained he killed the husband and framed Ben Dover for his crimes. When questioned how they're going to get him, Harper revealed that she sent a request for Berman to assist in the chaos, as a way to get him and he pulls up at that moment. Grey compliments Harper before they spot Berman getting a call, with an unknown man telling he's been set him up because of the warrant while stating he never called him. Berman panics, as Lopez reveals he's gotten a tip and Berman tries to flee but ends up crashing and is arrested.

Later, Grey calls Craig and Nolan into his office and reveals he will be signing paperwork for him to transfer to a different, softer division of the LAPD. Nolan also told him that Anita was captured while trying to board a train and the glass played in their favor, and she was charged. Nolan remarked he has a future ahead of him, giving his card as a reference in the future. Grateful, Craig said he wouldn't let him down.
