i refuse to belive that lucy is 37. it makes no sense.
why is lucy 37? s1-3 is 1 year (she’s 28) by s4 she’s 29. even if s4 & s5/6 (imo s6 isn’t a full year) is each 1 year she should stil be 32-34. also they literally said in 7x2/3 that it’s been 9-10 months since 5x3. they keep on retconning the time line.
whatever in my head lucy isn’t born in 1988 same with tim. Imo Lucy & Tim were born in 1990-1992/1980-1982 respectively. Also I don’t think her birthday is the 24th, but rather the 8th or 7th. Regardless The hospital bracelets were a bts things and the zoomed in pic of them weren’t featured in the episode, so technically it’s not canon. It’s weird that the wiki is stating 1988 as her birth year.

I have a thought about the new rookie Seth, just hear me out! Seth and Cable Wright are related somehow and he join the lapd to be close with Lucy and get revenge for Cable. He’s seem so sweet but too sweet and that’s giving me bad vibes. Thoughts and or feeling leave a comment about your theory of Seth
Hey! I'm new to this wiki but not Fandom in general. So I started binging The Rookie last week and I'm on now on the episode where Lucy meets Caleb. Unfortunately, I already know from YouTube that he buries her alive, so now I won't be surprised whenever that happens, but it's even worse this way because I know Lucy has no idea what's going to happen and I'm screaming internally. So I looked ahead and saw the next episode is called day of death and the thumbnail is Lucy. It seems like the right episode, but I'm not gonna look it up on this wiki. Hopefully I get to it tonight.
As you can see here, a new spinoff of The Rookie has been announced. The series is currently being developed by ABC.
Hey everyone, I have this crazy theory and hope on how Tim and Lucy should get back together! If anyone here use to watch one tree hill remember the episode in season 8 episode 11 were Brooke almost die, that is my theory that maybe Lucy was driving back home on a storm and she saw a car accident with a bunch of kids in there maybe one of them is Tim’s nephew, anyway Lucy was helping but the car tip over into the ocean and Lucy drowns and almost die but lucky everybody including Tim was there brought Lucy back giving her cpr like day of death episode in the rookie. What to you think?

The Rookie fans, it looks like it may be a little while before we step back into the doors of LAPD Mid-Wilshire.
Just one month after ABC renewed the procedural drama for season 7, the network shocked viewers when they released the official lineup for the Fall 2024 TV season. Amid seeing new seasons of shows like Abbott Elementary, 9-1-1 and Dancing With the Starsall set to air sometime in September, The Rookie season 7 appeared to be nowhere on the list.
Given how the show usually airs new episodes during the same timeframe (except for season 6, due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes), the news had fans wondering what's going on with The Rookie and when they can expect to see a new installment air on ABC.
RELATED STORY
Presently, folks can expect The Rookie season 7 to premiere on ABC in January 2025. There's a specific reason behind the surprise move to the midseason, as well as a silver lining for fans of the show.
Despite the confusion over The Rookie season 7's current TV schedule, TVLine provided an explanation for the move to air new episodes in 2025. According to the outlet, the series was held to midseason so that when it does return, it will run consecutively for potentially 18 episodes. This also appears to be the same format ABC is taking with Will Trent, which will air season 3 at the same time as The Rookie.
"The Rookie and Will Trent are two of the cornerstones of our schedule," Craig Erwich, president, Disney Television Group, told the publication about the decision to hold both for midseason. "The Rookie is an amazing story, where at this point in its life cycle it continues to grow. We see not just the current season but past seasons drive a tremendous amount of viewing on Hulu."
“It felt like the best way to platform those shows for success was to launch them in January ... to give these shows an uninterrupted run," he added. "They’re going to go straight through ... and that kind of momentum of original episodes week-in and week-out is just a very powerful engine for both of these shows."
Although it will be some time before we see what happens in The Rookie season 7, we do know LAPD Mid-Wilshire is set for a lot of drama during the season 6 finale, airing Tuesday, May 21 on. Titled "Escape Plan," the logline notes that Sgt. Grey (Richard T. Jones) and his team prepare for their biggest assignment, while Thorsen (Tru Valentino), Lopez (Alyssa Diaz), Celina (Lisseth Chavez), Tim (Eric Winter) and Smitty (Brent Huff) find a surprising connection in their episodes-long case.

Both The Rookie and Will Trent, which air their finales next Tuesday, May 21, won’t return with their new seasons until 2025. But here’s why that’s a good-ish thing for fans of either show.
ABC’s fall schedule for the 2024-25 season features a Tuesday line-up of Dancing With the Stars leading into the new drama High Potential. Neither Will Trent nor The Rookie are anywhere to be seen, held as they both are for “midseason.”
The good news, though, is that once the two dramas return, they’ll do so in non-stop runs (of 18 episodes each, TVLine hears).

“The Rookie and Will Trent are two of the cornerstones of our schedule,” Craig Erwich, president, Disney Television Group, told TVLine when explaining the decision to hold both for midseason. “The Rookie is an amazing story, where at this point in its life cycle [six seasons in] it continues to grow. We see not just the current season but past seasons drive a tremendous amount of viewing on Hulu.
“And Will Trent is probably one of the bigger breakout dramas of the last two years,” Erwich continued. “It felt like the best way to platform those shows for success was to launch them in January, when we have this huge promotional platform in New Years Rockin’ Eve as well as college sports and Christmas programming, and also to give these shows an uninterrupted run.
“They’re going to go straight through,” with no breaks/reruns, Erwich reiterated, “and that kind of momentum of original episodes week-in and week-out is just a very powerful engine for both of these shows.”
As you can see here, ABC has renewed The Rookie for a seventh season.
Not too long ago, I made a theory that hopefully the rookie will do a crossover with 9-1-1 and now I see that one of the characters of 9-1-1 Oliver stark aka Evan Buckley that he like to do a crossover with the Rookie. Since both shows are now on ABC and are both in L.A then maybe hopefully we see that crossover come soon! Who here like to see the Rookie and 9-1-1 crossover
